What to Expect? TASC Assessment Information You have been referred to TASC by the Judge and/or your Probation Officer in order to obtain a substance abuse assessment and/or mental health screening, which must be done within 30 days of the day you are referred. The purpose of this assessment is to help you make decisions about your personal life goals and to assist you in accessing those services that can help you reach those goals You will meet with a TASC Care Manager who will complete an assessment with you. It will take approximately 2-3 hours to complete this assessment. As a result of the assessment findings, you may be referred for one or more of the following: 1. Substance abuse and/or mental health treatment 2. TASC care management 3. Education program (Drug Education School, etc.)
