Offender is irate because
he has lost his job and would rather not be in your office.
Have a staff member give
an example of "what not to say."
Observe what will happen
with the offender.
Then, have another staff
member give an example of "what to say" or have another staff
member diffuse the situation using MI skills.
This will compare and
contrast the differences on how to approach different situations.
